My Virtual Assistant - Account Manager

Roles & Responsibilities to Include:

Regular scheduled and ad-hoc calls with existing clients to ascertain their needs and map progress.

  • Handling of enquiries and calls with potential clients to answer questions about My Virtual Assistant, etc.
  • Managing of the new client intake process ensuring all new clients are happy and settled.
  • Management of the allocation of work to other team members, deadline management and quality control of completed work.
  • Project managing larger clients’ workflow between multiple team members.
  • Management of team’s availability including illness and holiday cover.
  • Processing and completion of billable work for clients.
  • Set up of processes and manuals for all areas of the businesses.

The Person We Need Is:

  • A motivated self-starter and can easily tackle projects and put systems in place without a lot of direction
  • Someone who is solutions focussed and results driven.
  • Someone who feels comfortable managing the team and business in my absence.
  • Available from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday

Required Skills:

  • High level of communication skills required for interacting with our clients, coupled with a desire to add value where ever possible.
  • Professional and supportive attitude.
  • Remarkable attention to detail.
  • Advanced level in Microsoft packages including:
    • Word
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
    • Access
    • Outlook

Desired Skills

    • Internet marketing skills
    • Social networking and knowledge of Ecademy, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
    • Knowledge of SEO and Google Adwords
    • Cold calling experience
    • Graphic design experience including flyer creation, eBook creation, etc.
    • General marketing experience.
    • PR experience

Additional Desired Skills

Proficient level in additional software packages including:

    • Dreamweaver
    • NetObjects Fusion
    • QuickBooks
    • Sage
    • Wordpress
    • Blogger
    • Aweber
    • Constant Contact
    • Vertical Response
    • Photoshop

Hours

Start level:

10 hours per week

Rising to

20 hours per week

Must also be available to work full time on occasion to cover holidays, illness and other business requirements.

Rates

Dependant on experience and skill set. Paid on a self employed, non employee basis. No holiday pay, sick pay etc. You must be registered as self employed and hold Professional Indemnity insurance (guidance can be given).

You will need to provide your own equipment and ensure that it is in reliable and up-to-date condition.

You will need to provide your own software for all the packages you have indicated that you can provide.

Training

Some training will be given as to the policies and procedures of My Virtual Assistant. Ongoing training to update your skills would be expected but the cost of this is your own concern. Please bear in mind the more skills you have, the higher the hourly rate.

This position will be an attractive one. As My Virtual Assistant grows, you will be on the front lines with me and will benefit greatly from our collective success.  It's a position I'm really looking to fill with someone who meshes well with me and my working style but who is also somewhat different than me.

This role is not suitable for anyone currently running or wishing to start their own virtual assistant business as there will be a non-competition clause in the contract.
